The road to making this record began in the summer of 2009 and finished in the winter of 2019. It was tracked and re-tracked in three different studios and there were times that I thought it would never see the light of day...that Permission to Fly would be something cool on my hard drive. Releasing this album helped to cement the idea in my head of how important it is to enjoy the journey of your process. You now have permission to fly.
